Uninstallation of the patch package is not supported

Hi

I recently tried to check for an update of Adobe Acrobat DC - no success, I only get this error message: "uninstallation of the patch package is not supported". I cannot uninstall or modify the program either.

Any ideas what the issue might be?

It sounds as if a file, needed to work with the install, has been deleted. Windows stores a lot of files and sometimes people want the space back. Or accidents happen. This can cause very serious problems, that are impossible to resolve.

Do you have the paid-for Acrobat or the free Acrobat Reader? What is the version currently shown, exactly?

I have the Acrobat Pro DC. Where can I find the version number? I have found here, 19.10.20069.311970, is this it?
