update notice

I'm suddenly being inundated with a pop up message saying "update to the latest version for continued access to adobe document cloud". How can I turn off this message?

I have zero interest in using the cloud and prefer not to update. I've been burned too many times by updates. The current version works fine (other than this constant pop-up message). I want to continue using it as is but need to stop this message. Thank you.

What version do you have and how do you get those messages?

I'm using Acrobat Pro DC v2021.007.20099 on an M1 macbook pro running mac os ventura 13.6.2
The message appears in a pop up every time I open a pdf. Yesterday I opened 27 pdfs at once and received 27 pop ups. I'm deperate to turn this off even if it means finding the updater in the system library and deleting it. Thank you for helping.

UPDATE:
I have found and deleted these two items: "Acrobat Update Helper.app" and "Adobe Acrobat Updater.app" which were located in Library/Application Support/Adobe/ARMDC/Application

Unfortunately the problem remains. I welcome any other suggestions, thank you.

I'm puzzled by the lack of response to this. Am I the only person receiving this unwanted message? I assumed adobe flipped a switch somewhere to activate this for all users but perhaps I'm being individually targeted. Even if you don't have a solution, I'd like to hear if anyone else is being hounded by this message. Thank you.

Hi Rick, I'm getting the same issue. Trying to batch print circa 300 documents and the update pop-up appears on every open. When I try to update I get the message that Acrobat is already up-to-date! Infuriating. Have you found a solution? Acrobat version 2022.001.20112

LATEST

Yes, MacOS, but don't worry, I've printed the job now. I just had to keep clicking cancel on the pop-up. Very annoying.

I never solved this and never received any help from adobe. In fact, I cancelled my subscription over this and other problems. I have no idea what my $70/month was buying other than unwanted updates and lack of support. Good luck.

I continue to be plagued by this constant update notice so I decided to learn about the update and consider installing. To my surprise the creative cloud app shows acrobat to be "up to date".

I'd like ask others to what version they are using. My app is v2021.007.20099 – does anyone have something newer than this? Thank you.

is anyone using acrobat version 2021.007.20099 receiving update alerts?

Has anyone found a way to stop the alerts?
