Having issues with adobe after updating. When applying redactions it is adding black to areas that was not selected and not applying redactions to what was selected. This is extremely important that this gets fixed or finding a possible solutions since this is highly sensitive information. It was working perfectly fine before, until the update. All my coworkers are experiencing the same issue.

Does it appear that the actually redacted areas are consistently offset from the redact annotations? Or are there any other patterns to the issue?

If everything is offset consistently, then it is likely there is an issue with the page coordinates. Redaction should compensate for coordinate differences stemming from page rotation and a difference in the Crop and Media boxes. So, there could be an issue with how the underlying page structure is built.

You might try either optimizing the documents or printing to PDF in order force Acrobat to recreate the pages correctly.

I have printed my document to Adobe PDF as suggested, then tried to redact the resulting file.  I still get the same error:  the redaction from each page is applied to every page.  I.e. If I redact 'Area A' on page 1 and redact 'Area B' on page 2, both 'areas' are redacted from all the pages of the document, thus masking information that needs to remain displayed.  How can I fix this?  I haven't found any settings in Adobe PRO which resolve the problem. Hoping for a solution!
