Using Certificate signing on multiple pages

New Here ,
Jan 31, 2022 Jan 31, 2022

I have a user that wants to use the Certify option under Certificates on multiple pages of the PDF.  They said this was in option in older version of Acrobat but not working in the newest version.  I have tried testing this on my PC and when I certify a signature then it is grayed out after that.  Also even if I say that signatures are allowed after I certify both Digitally Sign and Sign Yourself are grayed out.  Perhaps I am misunderstanding the process but can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to tell this user?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you want to apply certificate/digital signature on multiple pages of the PDF file.

The certificate/digital signature applies to the complete document and not to a specific page. If you want to apply it on every page of the file, you may consider creating a stamp  https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/create-custom-dynamicstamp.html of the signature and apply it on multiple pages of the document.

Hope this information will help.

Regards

Amal
