Using Forms Myself vs Distributing

New Here ,
Mar 24, 2022 Mar 24, 2022

Hi, I'm brand new to Acrobat. I created a form from a PDF I use daily. I want to use it to export the data I enter to Excel when I fill it out. I didn't realize I had to distribute it to collect submissions from others...?

Can I fill it out and "submit" it somehow? Am I missing a better way to do this?

TL;DR:

I want to use my own form to export data to Excel daily.

You can export the form data as a tab-delimited text file and then import that file into Excel.

You can't export the data into an existing Excel spreadsheet, though.
