Apr 04, 2020 Apr 04, 2020

Hi,

I'm getting crazy ... I run Acrobat pro DC on Mac OS Catalina and find no way to enter German Umlaute ä, ö or ü to my pdf document text fields.
is it only me or do I make something wrong?

thank you for any hint

Be sure that the font used contains these characters.

I was using "Helvetica Neue", the issue is that I don't get the box allowing to select an ä instead of a (the long press on a just inserted lots of a)

But thank you - you pointed me to a workaround to temporarily use a German keyboard in keyboard settings (my MacBook has a physical American layout)
