Vectorisation de police

New Here ,
Sep 01, 2025 Sep 01, 2025

Bonjour,

Hi,

[sorry I can only speak English]

Would the preflight option "Convert fonts to outlines" be the equivalent that you could ask to be applied.

Hello,

Thank you for your quick response.

Indeed, this is the dialog box I'm looking for, but it no longer seems to exist in the latest version 2025 of Acrobat! OR it's moved!

[Edited Response]

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

++ As correctly suggested by BarlaeDC

Please check the preflight option "Convert fonts to outlines" and see if that works for you.

You can use the Preflight tool to fix many errors in a document. You add error corrections, called fixups, to a profile to do this. The fixup automatically corrects the problem, if possible, or provides information so that you can correct the problem in the source file.

Preflight includes several predefined fixups that you can add to a profile. These cover a broad range of errors that affect color, fonts, images, print production, compliance with international standards like PDF/X and PDF/A, and other areas.

> Acrobat itself doesn’t include a dedicated font vectorization or “convert text to outlines” function

That's not true. It exists as a part of the Preflight tool, as was shown above.

Hello Amal,

thanks for your answer.

Yes Acrobat had this tool, since last version i think.
As u said i always ude Acrobat ecause the way you propose is not possible.

For instance the file i want to convert had old Type1 fonts and can't be open with Illustrator.

Is i possible to install older versions af Acrobat ?

It is available at Acrobat Pro DC 2025 Profiles not Prepress, Color and Transparency

Thank you very much Bernd Alheit, I think this is exactly what I'm looking for!
A very strange position for this function. In the French version, this is what it looks like (Use Prepress / Flattening Preview).

I think it was also somewhere else... But it works !

Thanks again.
