verification code invalid

I recently downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I am trying to sign in and the application is asking for verification via a code sent to my email. I put in that code and it reads "that's an invalid code, please try again." I have repeated this process multiple times and restarted my computer after closing everything out and it still has not let me use the application. Has anyone ran into this issue and if so what did you do to fix it?
