Hi - I would like to view two pages from the same PDF document side by side in order to compare.
If I go to window/split, the two pages appear above and below each other, which is not what I want. I want them to appear side by side.
The only workaround I can find is to go window/new window, and then select window/tile/vertically. But is this is a copy of the document or an instance of the same document? If I edit it on one side, will it also edit the document on the other side?
There must be an easier way of doing this. I cannot believe this feature is so difficult to use in a premium product such as Adobe.

Hi @Moeiz5F88
Hope you are doing well.
As per the issue description that you want to view 2 pages side by side. You could use the view option in Acrobat, here are steps to follow:
Open file> select View> Page display> Two page view
Reference help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/viewing-pdfs-viewing-preferences.html
Let us know if that helps.
Thanks,
Harsh

That function only allows me to view two consecutive pages side by side. What if, for example, I want to view pages 1 and 48 side by side, and annotate them both simultaneously?

Okay, I get it. But unfortunately, this feature is not available as of now. However, we always welcome new suggestions and feature requests. Here is a form for feature requests and bug reports:

Does Window/New Window and then Window/Tile/Vertically achieve the same result? Or does that create two copies of the same document?

Using Window>New window and then tile vertically will not create a copy of it. It shows the same document you can view two pages side by side but editing already written text will not work. However, some features work, like comments, adding or removing new text, organizing and redacting pages etc.
Thanks,
Harsh

What do you mean by "editing already written text will not work"?
I would like to be able to see pages side by side and make highlights, add comment, and insert links.

Hi @Moeiz5F88
Sorry for the last reply. Some issue happened with Acrobat DC on my end that's why I provided the wrong information by mistake.
Please ignore my last reply. And using Window>New window and then tile vertically will create two instances of the same document, you can view two different pages simultaneously and can make highlights, add comments, and insert links.
Thanks,
Harsh
