What does Acrobat Standard provide?

New Here ,
Feb 21, 2024 Feb 21, 2024

I havae a subscription to Acrobat Standard and I have the Creative Cloud App installed. However I do not

have Adobe Acrobat on my machine.

When I go to install Adobe Acrobat through the Creative Cloud App, It signs me up for a 7 day trial subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro @ $19.xx /month. I don't see a way to install Adobe Reader or an Adobe product that I can edit PDFs with?

So what does my subscription to Acrobat Standard provide?

What version of Adobe acrobat do I get with the  Acrobat Standard subscription?

If I get a version of Adobe Acrobat with my Acrobat Standard subscrption, how do I download a version that won't sign up for another product?

This was bought by my predecessor, I'm just trying to figure this out.

Thanks,

Rod

Hi @ROD L

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

I have checked your Adobe account with the email you are using on this community and found that your Acrobat standard subscription is inactive, hence  When you go to install Adobe Acrobat through the Creative Cloud App, It signs you up for a 7 day trial subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro.

To know more about what Acrobat std includes, please check the help page https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/pricing.html

Thanks for the reply, I have a couple of follow on questions:

1. How do I activate my subscription?

2. Once I install Adobe Acrobat through the Creative Cloud App, I get a 7 day trial of Pro. I saw that. As I did not want to have pro, I de-installed Adobe Acrobat because I don't want to be charged for Pro. Will that 7 day trial roll into a monthly subscription of Pro?

Thanks,

Rod

Hi there

1. To activate the Acrobat Std. subscription you would need to purchase it via the link https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/pricing.html

2. To check the trial status, would you mind sharing the email ID used for opting it, so we can check the account details?

However it was purchased via auto-renewal and paid for.  Order # AB02164910516CUS.

Additionally this device (KO0A-1 on WINDOWS_64) shows activated.

So how do I get an Adobe PDF product (Standard? whatever it is called)  without being signed up for Adobe Acrobat Pro?

Thanks!

Rod

So how is it activated

Hi there

I have checked both the email id's and none of them had any active/running subscription.

As shared earlier, To activate the Acrobat Std. subscription you would need to purchase it via the link https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/pricing.html

For more information about activating the application, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/activate-deactivate-products.html
