You won't be able to fix this yourself. Do you have the product Callas pdfToolbox installed? What is your exact version of Acrobat?

I have the same problem. I've had it on my older computer for years, now I've switched to an all-new workstation with clean installs and I still get the same error.

I have the latest versions of Acrobat and I'm on Windows 11. It's a workstaion from 2022 with plenty of memory.

I could not find an explanation for this from Adobe or by searching online.
I found nothing that identified how to keep it from occurring.

Out of curiosity and desperation. I moved all working files out of Adobe
acrobat. This resulted in the error message and problem going away. So
apparently, if you keep a large number of files in adobe acrobat at some
point, they result in the "not enough memory" error and will keep some
functions from working correctly. Again, it would seem reasonable that
Adobe would have known this and had some note somewhere that keeping x
size of files in acrobat would cause this issue. Or the answer was evident
to everyone but me.

Hi -- I'm having a similar problem -- been using Acrobat Pro for years with no problems until a recent update to Windows 11. Can you please explain what you did above? I've cleared the recent files list, which didn't help, but that doesn't sound like what you've done here.

What I did, sounds much like what you said you did.

I removed all recent files that were in adboe acrobat (and placed files elsewhere). So that if you looked for any file that had been worked on at anytime you could not find them in acrobat, and rebooted the PC. This worked for me. I am using Windows 10. I would think it should have the same result in Windows 11.
