whatsapp issue reading cover pdf

The PDF file, when shared with others on WhatsApp, doesn't open with the size of the cover page (single) (fit to the first page), but it opens with the size of spreads pages. I tried to fix this issue, but didn't find any solution for that.

Thanks for writing.

We have trouble understanding your workflow here. Would you mind sharing more details about how the file is being transferred to Whatsapp and which application is used to open the .pdf file on your phone?

Is it Acrobat Reader mobile app or an inbuilt PDF viewer?

 

A screenshot or screen-recording as a reference would be super helpful.
