Good Afternoon
I currently having a problem with instead of 1234567890 appearing in abode when I type to edit or add text. I have ١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩٠ appearing instead, this is only happening in abode and started today. It does seem to affecting the letters just the numbers. Does anyone know how to fix this?
All the best

Those are Arabic numerals. Check here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/language-for-numbers-locked-in-arabic/m-p/9759910... and report back if that solves the issue.

I also encountered this problem and your solution worked perfectly thanks - all sorted and numbers back to normal.
I did notice on the other thread that some contributors were having trouble finding preferences, as did I, and eventually found them in the 'Edit' drop down menu.

I am having the exact same problem and it happens every time I try to make an edit on a pdf. Why is this happening constantly, and why has this not been addressed by Adobe!? Considering what we pay for this package, this ought to have been fixed by now. It keeps happening and has done since at least May of last year, so well over a year. Why should we keep having to try to find a fix or a workaround for something as basic as typing a number in to Adobe!!!!!!?
I have not make any changes or updates. This came from an Adobe update that has not been resolved in over 15 months.
