Question

When viewing pdf in adobe text is scambled and incorrect

When viewing this pdf in adobe reader it will display a certain part completely wrong.  What was a date is now showing a random string of numbers.  I will include an example(I dont have an account so I will just type out what I am seeing).  I believe this is a font issue but I tried the use local fonts option but no luck.

Date in pdf (in browser): 05/26/2023

Date in pdf (in adobe): .4.15.1/12

@trev281274706xnj

Can you go to File > Properties > Fonts and tell us if any of the typefaces are Type 1 (which are no longer supported)?

Also, you said you are view this in Reader but posted to Acrobat. Please confirm your application.

What are you viewing the PDF with in the Before image?

Hi,

If you are able to share a copy if a similar file with no sensitive data on it I can take a look at it and analyze it.

You may also use the Accesibility tool and run an accessibility check report.

The wizard will produce a full report indicating some of the issues that may be related to the document structure of that PDF.

Also, it would be helpful if you go to Document Properties and see the section "PDF Producer".

It tells a little more of the program and its version that produced that PDF when it was first created.
