I recently converted a picture of a business card into a pdf so I could add links to the card.
Everything worked fine except there is white space above and below the picture. How do I get rid of the white space so only the business card shows in the pdf?

Thank you for your response but it didn't seem to work. I followed the directions in the link you gave me. Opened the edit pdf menu, selected crop pages, drew a box around my picutre, double clicked and the set pages box opened, I selected delete white margins, etec, didn't change anything else and clicked ok but nothing seemed to happen. I saved the file and when I opened it back up it was the same as before. I see the picture of the business card but white space above and below it. I've attached a copy of my file for you.

When I look at your image, there is no white space above or below. It is just the business card.
Can you take another screen shot and zoom out so we can see the Acorbat interface?

I looked at the file as well and it looks great! I don't see the extra spaces above or below the card. A screen shot of your work space would be helpful as Document Geek suggested. I appears you are the right track though!

That's the background window for Acrobat. If you want to not see that, just make your window smaller.
Note that Acrobat does not behave like the Photos app on a tablet or phone. You will see the user interface of the program when viewing the document. Perhaps instead you'd like to view the document in full screen mode? Go to View > Full Screen mode. You can also set the document to always open this wa. Go to Properties > Initial View > and check "Open in Full Screen mode."
If you're planning on sending this business card out to people, I'd be wary of setting it to always open in full screen mode, as it effectively hides the user interface of Acrobat and that can be scary for people who don't know how to get it back. People might resport to force-rebooting their computer in order to get their program back (I speak from experience).
One other unrelated note... if you're planning on sending this out to folks, note that "LinkedIn" is misspelled on your card.
What are you planning on doing with this card? There may be better ways to accomplish what you're after (and it may not involve Acroabt).

Thank you so much for your detailed reply. I'm creating digital business cards for realtors and this is my first test card.
I created the card in Canva then downloaded and saved it as a pdf so I could add links to the buttons.
By having it in on pdf format the realtor can keep it on their phone and share the card as needed.
That was the reason I was concerned about the space around the card when it was opened to view.
Any better suggestions are appreciated. Yes, I did recognize that I misspelled LinkedIn and I'll correct it.
Thanks

I think sharing the card as a PDF fomr a phone will present some challenges. People are quite accustomed to sharing photos from their phones, but not so with PDFs. The reason is because PDFs dont' get stored in the Photos app. They get stored somewhere else, who knows where? For a long time, iPhones didn't have a folder structure. I'm not sure if this is still the case. I have an app on my phone called "Files," but I don't recall if its an Apple app, or a third party one that I downloaded from the App store.
But let's say for conversation's sake that it's an Apple app. Most people probably don't use it. So you'll have to educate the realtors on where they should store the PDF on their phones. They in turn, will need to educate whoever they send the PDF on where to store the PDF on their phones. But sharing a photo is simple. People (even old people) know how to share a photos, and they know where the photos will live. Not so with PDFs.
The new iOs recognizes text and websites in photos, so they should be clickable. I don't know about androids.
Why not try just sharing a photo of the business card first and test driving it with some realtors to see how they handle it, compared with a PDF? This is a broad generalization, but since realtors tend to very people-orientated, they might be be so tech savvy as to intuitively know how to store a PDF on their phone. But more importantly, since the final recipient of the business card isn't the realtor, but rather, potential home buyers/sellers, those are the folks who you need to make this easy for. Maybe try this out on your parents, or your grandparents, and see what kind of response you get when you send them a PDF business card from your phone. Remove the obstacles for those folks, and that will determine the solution you need. And again, it might not be a PDF.
Lastly, another reason I think it would be wise to keep this as a photo, rather than as a PDF is this: if the photo is stored in the Photo library on someone's phone, they'll run across it from tie to time while looing for photos of their dog or kids, or whatever. If the business card is stored in a a Files app that they never use, it's effectively throwing the business card in the garbage. It won't do any good if the business card has clickable links if it's stored in place that will never get looked at.

Thank you again for your response. You really gave me some things to think about, especially the eventual home buyer, the actual end user of the card, I was solely going at the realtor side.
I'll try your suggestion of using a picture instead.
Thank you again for talking the time to help.
Mike
