Why do I get "no printer installed"?

New Here ,
Jan 24, 2017 Jan 24, 2017

I have Acrobat 7 Standard and Windows 7. When I try to print I get the "no printer installed" banner. My printer is a Canon MX922 on my LAN and shows up as the default printer on the Control Panel. I can print on all other applications.

Hi  patscheck,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

This product version was never tested with Windows 7 and there is good possibility that your printer drivers are not compatible with Acrobat 7.

If you need to print a pdf, you can use Reader DC: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions free application to view, printer and comment with.

Let us know if that helps.
