Why is CC so slow - Working w Forms

Why is CC so freaking slow? Creating just one form is taking over 8 hours!!! Just moving elements a fraction of an inch causes it to time out. Laptop is 4 months old, internet connection is good, everything else checks out - it's Adobe. How can I get it to move at normal speed? I don't need to save anything to the cloud, so maybe disable that....would that help?

I wish Adobe could create what LifeCycle Designer used to be - it was a dream! I wish it was available again in the US.
