Why is my Dropdown Field Suddenly Being Recognized as a Date Field

I did this already with a separate document for the same purpose (created 01/27/25) and had no issues with my dropdown fields options list. But today, 01/31/2025, I am having an issue where the form builder is recognizing the dropdown field as a date field. Every time I enter an options list item for the dropdown I get a warning box that the format is not matching date/time format. Below: 1st image is the second document which is having issues; 2nd image is from a separate document created exactly the same way but without any issues.

I deleted all the dropdown fields, closed the document, reopened it and tried again but experienced the same issue. Is this perhaps a JavaScript error? How can I correct this?

The formatting option is set to the default of "None."

Your dropdown is not being recognized as a date field.  You probably have a calculation that sets the value of the date field "Date1_af_date".  Every time you enter an option into the dropdown properties the calculation script runs and throws the error because the value being fed into the date field does not match its format.  Set the format of "Date1_af_date" to none and add options to the dropdown and you should see the incorrectly formatted value in "Date1_af_date".

This still didn't work for me. I ended up deleting that form and starting a new one. I am putting in my dropdown list first then I will go back to add date fields under the appropriate columns. As of the time of this posting I have added five dropdowns and have been able to input the list options with out getting errors, but again, I have yet to put in the date fields so...

I appreciate all the responses.

What do you mean "didn't work"?  Did you remove formatting from Date1_af_date?  Did you get the error message?  What was the value in Date1_af_date?
