I am merging 2 different PDF's into one, which have different options in the Dropdown List/box.
When I merge on the Pro app, all of the Dropdown Lists combine, and every selection can be seen from each box. Any idea why this might be?
I also notice that with some other PDF's, I find that sometimes data just disappears after a merge.
Version is up to date, and I've attempted a reinstall, to no avail.
Any adive or suggestions would be greatly apprecaited!

Do the dropdown fields in the different PDFs have the same name?
Fields with the same name are the same field. When documents are merged, Acrobat has to merge the fields that have the same name.

Hi,
From what you've described and if I understood correctly, it may be possible that the form fields that are merging have the same field name assigned.
If that is the case, make sure that all dropdown menus have different names or else they will be combined as the same object.
