Thank you in advance for your help, anytime I try to save a PDF this is now what happens. Adobe is updated and it was working up until a week ago.

Is this happening with all documents or just some?

My first guess would be that you're editing a PDF where teh font isn't embedded and that's what's causing teh problem when saving. You can check the fonts in the PDF through File>Properties>Fonts.

It’s not edited. I saved a recipe from a website but it’s with anything that I save.

Did you create this PDF?  If so, what workflow/steps did you use?  What was the original source document?  A website?  A Word doc?  The more you can tell us, the better shot at troubleshooting.  Non-embedded, unavailable font is the likely issue, but the more details you can provide, the better shot we have at helping.

My best,

Dave

To clarify. after saving a webpage as a PDF and opening it, does the text look OK but then when you edit and resave, the text becomes odd?

OK, now understand though don't have a good solution for you. Printing web pages can often be troublesome. That's why sometimes websites have print friendly versions of pages. My suggestion would be to copy and paste the text from the web page into a new document, then format it the way you want, then save as PDF.

I do that exact thing many times per week.  It's the only way I'd ever be happy with the formatting of web content on paper!
