Moved Acrobat XI Pro to a new Surface computer. I tried all online suggestions to change language to English from what appears to be Swedish. None of the suggested solutions works. Any other suggestion? I deactivated previous installation. Download the installation package. Tried changing the install in Programs and Features. Rebooted. Nothing seems to work.

Hi thomass76569581 ,

Please try running the cleaner tool "Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs" on your machine to remove all traces of Acrobat .

Then, restart your machine and install the latest version of Reader from here:

Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

While installation, select the language as 'English' .

Also you may change the Application language when it gets installed using this step :- Acrobat > Edit > Preferences > Language> From 'Application Language' set the language of your choice .
