Had a trial version of Acrobat XI; uninstalled.
Just bought subscription to Acrobat DC, downloaded it, installed it.
When I run it, it says thanks for trying Acrobat XI and asks me to buy Acrobat DC again!!
What is the problem?
double check that acrobat xi is uninstalled using your control panel.
properly uninstall acrobat dc
run the cleaner per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
restart your computer
install acrobat dc using the cc desktop app from here, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
