Acrobat Pro 11 on Sierra: does not see scanner

Hi, since the update I cannot see the scanner HO Officerjet pro 6830 when I want to "Create PDF from scanner".

Anybody having the same problem? If yes, any solution?

Acrobat XI came out during the time of Mac OS 10.9 or 10, but Mac OS 10.12 came out several Years later. Apple changes always its connection to external devices. So you can't expect that an old version is supporting a later OS. If it works, it is fine, as it will do for many, but when it comes to problem, mostly with scanners and cameras and deep into the OS woven functionality you are out of luck.

Acrobat XI is not compatible with it. You need to upgrade to DC.

Is it defined as featured regression, a bug or something else?

Meanwhile I shall inquire about the cost of the upgrade.
