Acrobat Pro just started crashing this morning for no apparent reason.
I am running an older version of Acrobat Pro (9.5.5) on Mac OS 10.11.6.
Any ideas on why this may be happening?
Also, this happens almost immediately after I open Acrobat Pro, regardless of which file I open.
Hi 59459048
Sure please try it and see if it works.
Unfortunately we have no workaround due to system and application compatibility issue.

Supriya

Hi 59459048
Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the application.
Also this version of the application may or may not be supported by the OS you mentioned.
And so there is no fix for it unfortunately.
You may also refer to the link below fo rmore information on it:

Hi Supriya,
I guess I'll have to try that. I was hoping to avoid that because of all the updates also required.
But we'll see what happens.
Thanks,
fh

I have experienced the same today. Every thing working fine up until this morning.
O/S W10, program Acrobat Pro X
Completed the uninstall but not able to reinstall as it is not able to write quick start links in C:Microsoft/Windows etc.

I have issues with Acro Pro 11.0.23 when creating forms. Can populate and define fields w/o issue.
However, when I try to define a calculated field (sum of cells, etc.)... it immediately crashes when I try to enter the cells to be used in the calculation.
Can't find anything similar on web searches.
