Hi ,

Acrobat comes along either as Standalone software or as part of the Creative Cloud package.

Adobe ID  is required to license the Acrobat subscription.

No software runs without licensing be it Acrobat or any other.

Hi ,

Could you please share the screen shot of the dialog box where it is asking you to type in the Adobe ID?

You need to serial number to license software if it it is a perpetual license.

If it is a subscription,the the only way to license Acrobat is by typing in the Adobe ID and the associated password.It does not even ask you for the serial number.

The information is already provided in the first statement of the original post - "The serial is entered and the product is activated."
