Acrobat Pro XI Error 2148073497

Getting error 2178073497 in Acrobat Pro and DC- all programs are updated, OS WIN7 - updates applied - Card reader drivers updated.

We can logon using CAC sign emails but not Digital signatures is Adobe products

Error :

The Windows Cryptographic Service Provider reported an error:

The Keyset is not defined.

Error Code: 2148073497

We have searched everywhere but this has never been answered

Yes we tried this, it did not work, in fact the "Crypto" folder was not recreated.

I'm not sure what you are suggesting in the link(?)

We have Adobe Acrobat PRO XI- up to date, DC-up to date, Updated CAC software, Updated Divers for CAC reader.

Are you suggesting we "downgrade our installation to 8 or 9? This is not possible due to security concerns.

There are no issues with signing or encrypting e-mail, CAC logon or any other programs.

To say it is a "Windows" issue when the only software affected is Adobe does not sound correct.

Hi! Have you found an answer? I'm having the same issue, can't find an aswer anywhere on the internet. Tried to uninstall adobe, the certficate too, renamed the Crypto folder... nothing works.
