I'm trying to print a PDF made from a PowerPoint, probably with MS Office. (It's from teacher in a course my wife took.) It makes streaks where the text should be.
I'm using Windows 10, latest update to Acrobat Reader. I also have a laptop running Linux (Mint) and can use the app Okular to print the PDF. That works fine. Thus, there seems to be a bug, either in the HP firmware or with A.R. I don't really expect help, since I'm going to finish the printing with Linux. Has anybody else had this problem? I can sent a scan of the messed-up slides if that will help.

Could you please share the screenshot of the pages you get after printing.
What is the dot version of Adobe application you are using?

The Adobe Reader version is 10.1.16, under Windows 10 on an HP Pavilion which is about a year old. Here is a scan of one of the pages. Hope this helps.

Hi TomNeutrino
Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. This is a known issue. However would like to advice you once try to update the application to the latest patch released and check if you still get this error.
This issue is under investigation and we are working on the fix. Since the issue appeared to start occurring after Windows 10 update, the fix might require some changes from Microsoft and it might take some time.
For now, the team has identified a workaround for this issue “black streaks while printing.”
Here’s the KB article: Acrobat Reader DC prints streaks after upgrading to Windows 10 Anniversary update
