I have installed Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on one of my users' machine and used a standalone license key and the application states that the subscription has expired. He previously had Adobe Creative Cloud installed on his machine but it has been uninstalled since July 2015. I ran the Creative Cloud cleanup tool, but his new standalone Acrobat still will not work. I have verified with my license admin that the key is up to date. How can I get his installation to disassociate with his Adobe ID and work with the standalone license?

Hi James Hardy,
Please try Acrobat cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labsto completely remove the races of Acrobat and restart your system.
Then try to re-install it from here : Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X
If issue still persists, try using different user account.
Let us know if it works.

Meenakshi

That did not work, I ran both the 10.x and DC cleaners and still getting a message stating that the subscription has ended. Are there registry items that I can manually delete that may be referencing an old license?

Hi James,
Create a new Adobe ID and use the serial number to activate the software.
