adobe acrobat 8 professional

Installed Adobe Acrobat 8, which has been working fine since Jan 2016, but now suddenly will not even open.  I have a stand alone copy for this machine.  Any ideas?

Please provide the exact dot version of the software & OS installed at your system

Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat software :- How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.

Launch the application holding 'Shift' Key, check whether it works or not.

* Check with the compatibility mode, right click o Acrobat Pro icon, then from Properties > compatibility > uncheck the compatibility option & Run the acrobat as administrator.

* If issue still persist, Repai

* If issue still persist, Repair the Acrobat Pro through : C:/ >Program files (x86) > Adobe > Acrobat Pro > Stet up files > Open the Folder having the Alpha Numeric letters > Run the installed with name 'AcroPro.msi'

Follow on screen instructions & Repair it.
