Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended wants a new serial number

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended installed on my Windows 7 computer. It has worked perfectly for years. Today it says the serial number is invalid and wants a new serial number. I don't have a new serial number. How do I correct this error?
