Adobe DC Pro

I purchased Adobe DC Pro and it gave me the impression that it had some cloud space with it, also all the signing, editing of a pdf file. Also could make up my own PDF file. Does anyone know what it comes with since it was 238.00 USD and I kind of hope would come with something !!!

Did you buy this from Adobe? I don't see any subscription plans that would be $238:

Acrobat DC does come with a full set of features and access to the document cloud as part of your subscription:

As as you can see, the subscription includes signing, tracking, editing, cloud... All the things you're asking about. So, please be specific about what you have purchased? Note that I believe the desktop only versions may not include the cloud services, as indicated in the feature comparison chart.

Hi James,

Looks to me like you've purchased the desktop version. Had you instead purchased the subscription version ($14.99/month), you would have access to the cloud features you're seeking.

I believe you still have plenty of time to change your mind and switch over if you want. You'll have to contact Adobe Customer Care in that case: Contact Customer Care

I do see what you are saying if I was to buy DC Pro subscription I would get the sign part and the cloud part and the editing part and the etc and it is 178.00 something a year still don't understand why they would think I want just the reader for 215.00 that's just to much with people scamming it gets frustrating especially when I am opening my company back up and there is so much to get read with Taxes and the such. I just wanted to get PDF suite so I can put security on my reseller applications and the things like that. Just more time and when I called Adobe on Friday they did not know what was going on they said oh you must be trying to upgrade and I said no I am trying to get paid version and have the thing working. Hopefully Monday will be a better day I am sure they will take care of me . Thanks for your answer.

Hi James,

It can be confusing, for sure. But, I do want to point out that the $215 is not for Adobe Reader DC - That price is for Adobe Acrobat DC.

The Reader application is a free download. It can view and you can comment on PDFs, but that is all.

Acrobat DC, desktop version (no subscription) can create PDFs from a variety of sources, and you have full editing capability. This includes adding security to your documents either with passwords or certificates. You pay a one time cost, and get a serial number to activate it.

Acrobat DC, subscription version, adds the cloud connectivity, giving you sign and track, document cloud storage, and related cloud features. You pay a monthly fee, and sign in with your Adobe ID (no license key required), and have full access to the cloud features including mobile sync.
