Adobe You Suck!

We are very upset that we tried to uninstall DC because it keeps crashing our other integrated programs and when we tried to reinstall our earlier enterprise version, Adobe doesn't support the earlier version for re-licensing.

We had purchased the Acrobat Pro 11 enterprise and tried to reinstall it. Adobe wouldn't license it! We called Adobe and they told us to upgrade!

We told them that we did upgrade and the DC was causing all sorts of problems.

They told us to contact the other software company.

Adobe you Suck! and your new DC sucks!!!

Way to pass the buck on a screwed up management decision.

If I have purchased the software and follow the EULA you should honor the damn license if I want to use the earlier version that I paid for.

What kind of an answer are you expecting? You're using third-party software that's no longer compatible with the current version of Acrobat.

You should contact those who developed that software and ask them for a compatible version. If they can't offer it then use the older version of Acrobat that you have a license for, if it works there. That is the advice you got here and it makes sense to me...

Did you even read the entire thread? Or did you just jump on the idiot bandwagon and make a stupid reply.

The reason I said ADOBE SUCKS is because I tried to go back to my originally installed Adobe Acrobat Professional XI that is a full commercial adobe volume license.

I uninstalled Adobe DC then restarted my computer

Then installed Adobe Acrobat Professional XI
I was then informed the license was no longer supported.

I called Adobe and they told me I needed to upgrade to Adobe DC... I had already freaking tried that, but it doesn't work with the other software.

The issue I have with ADOBE SUCKS is not that the third party software doesn't work with Adobe DC it is that my firm paid a great deal of money for the full commercial adobe volume license for Adobe Acrobat Professional XI and Adobe won't allow me to use the damn thing anymore!!!

How hard is that to grasp!!!

Hi ,

I am extremely sorry that you are experiencing this issue. However if you could let us know the OS work on we might be able to resolve the issue.

Also tell where did you purchase Acrobat from?

If there is any error message or error code along before crash appears, please update us on the same.

I would request you to help us with the details so that we could do the best possible to fix it.

Using Windows 7 Professional. The program that keeps crashing due to Adobe Acrobat DC Standard - Is Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite- File Cabinet.

We discussed the issue with Thomson Reuters and they do not have an answer.

We tried to go back and reinstall the earlier version of Adobe Acrobat Version AcrobatPro11_Web_WWMUI.exe

The installation would not license even though we have the Full Version Commercial Adobe Volume License Product.

We called Adobe and spoke with the representative and was told that Adobe no longer supports that version and we would have to upgrade.

We escalated the problem to their manager and were told the exact same thing.

Now if you could help us get the previous version Adobe Acrobat Version AcrobatPro11_Web_WWMUI.exe re-licensed and activated I will be happy to post that Adobe stands behind their product and the EULA that we purchased!!!

The impression both our firm and our outsourced IT firm were left with from speaking with Adobe, was that Adobe didn't care that we had purchased the Full Version Commercial Adobe Volume License Product or how much we spent on it we were going to have to upgrade plain and simple.

All we know is that we have been faithful customers using legally licensed commercial adobe volume licensed software are completely integrated with the use of adobe acrobat with our document management.

We are a CPA firm that utilizes a "paper-less" office with the use of Adobe Acrobat and our document management software. We have also heard numerous complaints from clients of ours that have law firms and they're experiencing similar issues with their document management and legal document software.

The upgrade to DC was not an upgrade it has been a nightmare for us that use document management.

We are seriously looking for alternatives to Adobe Acrobat after not only the experience with the software, but more importantly the customer service we received from the telephone representative and their supervisor!!!

Hi ,

You had purchased the Volume license for DC and not for 11 and that is the reason you are unable to license that .

Adobe does not sell prior version once there is a new version in the market.

You could connect with a Adobe reseller and see if they could provide you with that.
