Hi I am using Adobe Acrobat standard 7.0 version. I am not able to insert page number in the option "Header and 'Footer" . error message prompted as "Bad Parameter". please help
The only available version is DC. You may buy a permanent license or a subscription, which includes future upgrades. You are at least 7 years too late for a reduced price upgrade.
I recommend you use the free trial if DC on a DIFFERENT COMPUTER to see if the problem is fixed. Once you uninstall 7 you will NEVER BE ABLE TO REINSTALL.

Probably fixed in a later version. That is very old indeed.

As TSN suggested, this is an ancient version of Acrobat, which has not been supported in years - it was released more than 10 years ago. This also means that it would not run on any modern operating system anymore. And, the latest version of PDF it supported was 1.6. The problem you are seeing could be caused by many different things: The PDF file you are trying to process is too new (PDF version 1.7), your operating system is not compatible with Acrobat 7, you are dealing with a corrupt PDF file (in which case a newer version of Acrobat would potentially not help either), or, a genuine Acrobat bug. Because the application is not supported anymore, Adobe cannot help you, and chances are that nobody here still has Acrobat 7 running anymore.
Here is what I would do: Test with a very simple PDF file that is clearly PDF-1.6 or earlier (this seems to be a good candidate: http://www.iitsec.org/authors/Submission_Information/Documents/PDFguide.pdf) - if this works, then the problem is very likely with your PDF file. If this also fails, then there is something wrong with Acrobat. The Windows version of Acrobat has a Repair function built-in - you can find this in Acrobat's Help menu. Because of your old system, nobody here can guarantee that you will still have a working Acrobat installation after running this function, so make sure you have a backup of your system before you try.
The best solution for you would be to upgrade to the latest version of Acrobat (but depending on what operating system you are running on, that may not be an option either).

There is nothing you can do to get this working on Windows 10. You are trying to run Acrobat on an operating system that is 10 years newer than the application. It's not surprising that you are running into problems.

Resolve the "bug" by upgrading to a supported version. 7, 8, 9, and 10 are out of support. There will be no fixes; of course Adobe hopes they will stop working if you choose to upgrade your OS.

Please let me know the available supported version and the procedure to
upgrade it to that supported version. Thanks.

You don't have to use the Arial source. Excellent is Microsoft Yahei.
