Some time ago I was signing PDF documents in Adobe. Some months later, I no longer have that capability. I suppose there have been upgrades along the way, but am not sure what to do. Help!

Do you use "Fill & Sign"?

Yes, I click on fill and sign, but it's greyed out. Before, when it worked, it would take me to a screen that I would have to put in my password each time I applied my signature (which was a jpg).

Are you allowed to modify the document? To find out, open up the Document Properties dialog (Ctrl-D or Cmd-D), then go to the "Security" tab. Are there any restrictions listed?

This is what I see.

Is there any more information below that table? Based on that information you should be able to sign the document. Is there a signature field in the document? What is the Application and Producer on the "Description" tab of the document properties dialog?

There's no more information below that table. There's a signature line, but not what I would call a "field" as I believe you're referencing. Theoretically, I could sign this document anywhere as required by my company. And here's what's in the other areas you asked about.

You definitely should be able to sign this document. The first thing I would try is to repair the Acrobat Reader installation. You can find the repair option in Reader's Help menu.

I'll give it a try and will let you know tomorrow how it went. And thanks for your help thus far.
