Cant see signatures

I have pdf that was sent to me that have electronic signatures on them but the signatures wont show up

The signatures pane will show digital signatures, but not any e-signatures which may have been applied. Without looking at the PDF, it's difficult to diagnose what may be wrong.

Use the menu View > Show/Hide > Navigation Panes > Signatures

when i do this none of the navigation pane options such has signatures is highlighted and useable
