Combining PDF documents - formatting issue afterwards

So when I go to combine a single page PDF into a larger (25 page) PDF, it messes up the larger 25 page PDF in that the pages are combined at various points throughout the document rather than still staying in the original order and view...Any ideas why?

Re-name the 25 pages in orderly and combine it or at the combine pdf dialog box do set up the pages in order wise, select the file and click on "move up" and "move down" button and combine it.
