I'm trying to find out if Acrobat Pro X will run ok if I upgrade my OS to El Capitain. I've had problems in the past with upgrading issues so I don't want to spend money I've saved up only to find out I gonna have compatibility problems. I've searched the internet, called Apple, asked people I thought would know but nothing really answered the question. So would someone here know the bottom line? Please let me know?

Acrobat X Pro is not supported on El Capitain. Because of that, we don't know what type of problems lurk below the surface, even though it may initially look like it's running on the new OS. If you want to avoid any surprises, either stay with you current OS and use Acrobat X Pro, or upgrade and be prepared to also upgrade your Acrobat version.

The latest versions of Mac OS X supported by Acrobat X Pro are Mac OSX 10.8.4 and 10.9 - which was added in release 10.1.8. You can find this information near the bottom of this page: Overview — Acrobat and Adobe Reader Release Notes
