DC Acrobat Portfolio

Is Acrobat trying to get away from users creating customize portfolios? I have notice that DC has so many limitations with this version that, we can't use it to create our clients projects.  We have to go to the older versions to get what we need.  Does anyone have any idea of what is going on?

I may be completely wrong here, but have Adobe moved away from Flash for portfolio covers? That would limit the creativity, but be a very good thing, because Flash is on its last legs, and already unusable from the most popular platforms.
