Hi All

I have been trying to use distiller to remove hyperlinks, but it is not working. Is there a particular setting I need turned on/off?

Thanks!

‌Distilling will remove hyperlinks, it is impossible to do anything else. I suspect you have automatic hyperlinks from URLs in the text; nothing to remove.

Hi

I have things such as www.google.com and email addresses in the document. These need to be completely un-clickable but it seems no matter what I do they are generated again and again. Is there any way at all to completely remove the ability to click on them?

Thanks!

You cannot prevent the client software (Acrobat Reader etc) from automatically adding links whenever there's a valid URL or email address in the text - it's a user-controllable option and the document cannot override it. All you can do is change the text so it looks OK but it's no longer a valid pattern, for example by adding hair-width spaces either side of the dots and @ symbols.
