Editing pdf's without clearing the formatting

I edit subcontracts. When using Adobe Acrobat DC, my edits wreck havoc on the formatting that the pdf came with. I can make additions before eventually the added text creates text boxes that pile up.

Hi Valerie,

I would recommend flattening the pdf document by printing to the Adobe PDF Printer and then try editing the pdf in Acrobat DC and check.
