Error while combining Excel files into a PDF

New Here ,
May 06, 2016 May 06, 2016

Hello,

Suddenly on multiple computers in our organization we receive an error when combining Excel files and we can't complete the operation. If we try to convert a single Excel file it works perfectly, only the combine features has this issue.

We are using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2015.006.30121 , if we try to search for updates it says it's the latest version installed. The office installed is 2016 (Office 365)

Here is a screenshot altough is in Italian the error says: Acrobat doesn't support PDF conversion of one or more of this files. Remove those files or switch to settings and choose Portfolio PDF.

Obviously the suggested Portfolio PDF doesn't sort any effect.

Every Excel file in this windows is marked with the upper left exclamation mark. All Excel files, even those created from scratch as a test.

This is a big issue for our organization effecting all the users, could you please help us or find a way to contact the support?

Many thanks

Hello,

Current version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is Version 2015.010.20060. Depending on your update preferences, you may require full permissions as Systems Admin to implement updates of Adobe products inside your organization.

Regards

Hello,

Thank you for your reply

I've reinstalled the product and searched for updates: the last one that I can install is indeed 2015.006.30121 even if I try to download the patch from Adobe's website for a manual install it says that my version is not compatible. I think this could be because we are using the Italian version of the product. I can confirm that automatic update says that my software is up to date.

Is there a way to force the update? Or anyway another fix for my issue

Hello,

How do you reinstall your product i.e. Adobe website, package or through the CC Desktop application? This allows me to understand how I can help. The localization (Italian version) shouldn't be an issue. Once, your Acrobat version is updated, we'll look into fixing the underlying issue of combining Excel files into PDF files.

Hello,

Once you are able to update Acrobat Pro DC, that should solve any compatibility issues, as shown here Compatible web browsers and PDFMaker applications

If the issue persists, please try to repair your MS Office 2016 (Office 365) in your Control Panel => Programs and Features => Change => Repair

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

After a clean uninstall I've reinstalled Adobe Acrobat DC Pro by downloading a fresh copy from Adobe Website  https://helpx.adobe.com/it/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html

Then when I launch the automatic updates it downloads the 2015.006.30121 and it tells us that it's up to date to the latest version.

I've tried to install the patch from here http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows but there's an error about incompatible version.

Even after the clean reinstallation of the product we're experiencing the issue. This happens on multiple computer each one with it's own license
