Gibberish PDF's

Never had problem until yesterday. Now when creating pdf's from some word documents, my comes out with gibberish as follows: &%$#~ etc.

Could you please let us know the exact dot version of Acrobat & OS installed on your computer?

Open Acrobat, navigate to Help menu & repair the installation. Now try creating PDF from Acrobat itself.
