How do I add white space between areas that contain text fields?
I’m using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015.
I’m trying to edit an existing PDF. I need to add white space between areas that contain text fields to allow those text fields to be expanded and not overlap the existing text and the text fields below.
For example:
Progress/Strategies:
Progress/Strategies:
Progress/Strategies:
Progress/Strategies:
The space between each “Progress/Strategies” needs to be increased. A text field is underneath each one. If it was a Word doc, I could just press enter. What is the easiest way to achieve this with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?
There's no easy way of doing it. You will need to move the text fields more apart and if there are static elements then you will need to use the Edit Text & Images tool to move them, separately.

Thanks, try67.
Yes, each "Progress/Strategies:" is a static element. Each one has a text field associated with it. Plus there is more below and another page after that. I'll have to insert a page too. I'll try the Edit Text & Images tool to maybe move those entries that need to be expanded to the inserted page. I'll leave the question open for a while longer.

I might even try converting the pdf to Word, editing it, and then converting back to pdf. Of course, I'd have to add the text fields again.

Why no just a Word form?

It will be uploaded into prepackaged software and used as a template for a form filled out via the program. The forms can be printed out from the program. I believe a pdf is required.

I ended up using a combination of the Edit Text & Images tool and using Word to edit.
Thanks.
