Question

How do I send a fillable .pdf NOT as a "Read Only"? I want it to be more like a template and reusable...not always have to "save as" etc...

I created a fillable .pdf for my boss--but when I emailed it to her, it was only in the "read only" format.  She sent me this email...

"They work great

One thing we need to change is that they are read only so every time I add or change the form, I have to save it as something else.  Can we fix that?"

And I am not computer savvy.  It took me daaaaays to creat 4 fillable documents! haha

Any help would be much appreciated.

It's unlikely that the files are read-only, and if they are, they should make them not read-only themselves. There are other reasons that Acrobat/Reader does not allow a simple save, as opposed to a Save As. For example: Annoying When Saving Comments
