When importing images from other sources like webpages or word documents, the images tend to come out blurry.
My company uses PDF factory pro to convert documents into PDF format and if those documents happen to have some kind of images of pictures they tend to be somewhat fuzzy. These are just simple JPEG images with low resolution from webpages or sometimes we will import from other documents. I am not sure if changing the resolution within PDF factory pro would help or should I change the Resolution setting within Acrobat itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You say the images are low-resolution JPEGs to start with, so it's not surprising that they come out looking fuzzy... But check the settings of the application you're using to create the PDF files. Maybe there's something you can tweak there. It's most likely not relate to Acrobat, if you're only using it to open the files.

Thanks for responding.
Yes, most time the JPEG or whatever images/pictures are usually low resolution to begin with but every now and then we will use high resolution graphics and they do come out ok when imported to Acrobat most of the time. The images do come out ok most of the time. But on occasion the image becomes totally degraded compared to the original document. My question is which setting in Acrobat should I try to tweak to get the sharpest image possible?

Are you using Acrobat to create the files? You mentioned PDF Factory before... If that's the app you're using to create the files then that's where you should look for these settings.

Yes, we use PDF factory pro to print the file to PDF and I did play around with different resolutions and that seemed to help with image quality.
