How to get page navigation back?

I have Acrobat 8 Pro. I used to have the pages at the top of the pages but not now. I used to have the page numbers (like 6/15) at the top of a PDF document. Now they aren't there. How can I get them back?

Try to launch Acrobat>right click on the toolbar>then click Page Navigation.

I can get to page navigation….

However, I’m trying to get the page number and the back & forth arrows at the top of the page. Somehow these disappeared.

Ok, I'm looking at my book from 2007, and trying to remember what isn't mentioned...

How about Tools > Customize Toolbars > Page Navigation > Reset Toolbar
