How to uninstall Adobe DC from my Mac OS Capitan and reinstall 8?

I have a purchased copy of Adobe 8 Pro including a disk.  Upgraded to the free version of Adobe DC but I can no longer edit/change/delete pages in a .pdf.  The Adobe 8 Pro seems to be installing (the screen that says "Installing..." pops up) and then it just doesn't install.

I'll keep the free version of DC if I can but I'd really prefer 8 Pro -- I can actually do what I need to!

I really just need to be able to type on a .pdf and delete blank pages in a scanned document.

I've tried uninstalling everything and starting from the beginning but it just won't work.  Can anyone help!?

Thanks!

Hi msm0321,

Acrobat 8 won't be compatible with your latest Mac OS 10.11 version.
