I am downloading/installing Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my Mac (10.11.2) and it stops at "Waiting for other installations to complete..." can't get it to move beyond this point

I am downloading/installing Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my Mac (10.11.2) and it stops at "Waiting for other installations to complete..." can't get it to move beyond this point

Hi David

Its highly likely that a previous installation hung or didn't exit gracefully and is responsible for this. Have you tried installing after a system reboot?

Yea, we did a reboot, opened in safe mode, almost everything

Can you share the screenshot of the Error Dialog. Also the install logs at "/var/log/install.log".

To share the logs here, follow the steps as mentioned here - How to share a document

Meanwhile on your terminal type this -> sudo rm /private/var/db/mds/system/mds.install.lock and hit return; Then reboot and see if this helps
