I bet I have read 12 differenct forums and articles trying to figure this out.

I am trying to download Adobe Acrobat DC to my mac (10.10.5 version)...it states that Safari needs to be closed to proceed with installation.

Now...before you tell me to open the activity moniter and safari from there along with any other safari named apps...I HAVE. There is nothing safari named running in my activity moniter...I cant figure this out, and I am about done trying. Unfortunately until I am a PREMIUM member, adobe has no customer service for me...Im a mere peasant trying to download the trial to see if I want to subscribe.

Any help would be awesome-Thanks.

Hi tylerh5699506,

Restart your Mac & again try to download & install Acrobat DC on a different web browser (Google Chrome or Firefox).

I was using chrome to start with. I haven't opened up safari in about a month...but I restarted my computer and tried it again. It actually worked. I have no idea what the "solution" was since there was no "safari" related  applications running in the activitiy moniter, but it went through, so I guess Im good.

Thanks
