Inserted video does not play on iPhone or Android tablet, what to do??

Let's be clear. The problem is not the PDF makers, not exactly.
It is the PDF players which cannot play video. A different PDF maker will not help.

My tip: forget PDF. Use a web page.

The only workaround is to embed the video as an attachment into the PDF, and explaining to users how to find the attachments panel…

Thanks for answering. I will go for another PDF-maker than Adobe, one that works with Flash.

That won't solve your issue. Flash doesn't work at all on iOS devices, period.

Videos are not likely to work on mobile devices. They usually require Flash, which isn't available at all on Apple devices.
